Removing the ElectroMagnetic (EM) clutch

Removes the ElectroMagnetic (EM) clutch from the dockable table motor and EM clutch assembly.

Required conditions
The motor and EM clutch assembly is removed from the table.

Procedure

  1. Remove the four screws securing the clutch cover plate to the motor and clutch assembly.

  2. Remove the clutch cover plate.
  3. Mark the position of the motor in the motor and EM clutch assembly. This mark will be the starting point for belt tension.

  4. Loosen the four screws securing the motor to the motor and EM clutch assembly.

  5. Loosen the belt tension adjustment screw to loosen the belt sufficiently to remove it.
  6. Remove the drive belt and discard it appropriately.
  7. Remove the clutch from the assembly.
