Overview

This document contains the procedures for replacing the LED light source used for the fiber optic bore lights.

Follow all LOTO procedures by turning off the applicable breaker in the PDU. See the MR Service Safety Manual, PN 5452735.
Remove rear pedestal side cover screws, and remove the side covers.

Loosen the 2 hand tightened screws that secure the fiber optic cables, and remove the cables.

Disconnect the power cable on the right side of the module.
Remove 2 screws securing the bore light module to the rear pedestal panel, and remove the module.
Attach the replacement module, and reconnect the power cable and fiber optic cables.
Put the rear pedestal side covers back in place and secure their screws.
Remove LOTO and restore power by turning on the applicable breaker in the PDU. See the MR Service Safety Manual, PN 5452735.
