Doing the leak sensor functional check

Follow this procedure to perform the leak sensor functional check.

System power is on.

About this task

There are two leak sensor routes. This test checks that the each sensor route is operational.

They are both connected to J6 of cabinet monitor.

  • Leak Sensor 1: Connected to J6 of cabinet monitor
  • Leak Sensor 2: Connected to J6 of cabinet monitor

Procedure

  1. Reconnect the leak sensor 1 connector.
  2. Press the EMO Reset button.

  3. Make sure that the system functions connected to the emergency off booted up properly.

    Result

    If the connected subsystems do not boot up properly (or at all), see Troubleshooting leak detection sensors.
  4. Make sure the leak sensor error message is not shown on the operator console.

  5. Repeat for leak sensor 2.
