System Power must be turned OFF. Refer to System Cabinet PDU Main Breaker LOTO Procedure.

Procedure

  1. Remove L Upper Front Cover. Refer to SC Cover Removal.
  2. Disconnect all connectors from front panel of Exciter.
  3. Remove 2 screws, and slide Exciter out.

  4. Withdraw Exciter.
  5. Place the rear of Exciter onto the ICN Duct, Hold the Exciter by left hand, and disconnect three connectors from rear of Exciter.

  6. Remove Exciter.
  7. Install Exciter by the reverse order of the removal.
    Note:

    Refer to the following illustration of J10 / J11 connector location.

  8. Restore System Cabinet.
