Installing the P1/PE cable into the dockable table cradle

Installs the cable assembly containing the P1 and PA coil connectors into the dockable table cradle.

Procedure

  1. Route the cable assembly through the left-hand cable pass-through at the handle end of the cradle.
  2. Install the plastic bearings and brass cable track mounting blocks onto the cable track.

  3. Install the four brass screws and four washers securing the brass cable track mounting blocks (underneath the cradle) to the bottom of the cradle.

  4. Install the balun into the balun holder.

  5. Install the microphone to the handle-end cradle cover.

  6. Install the four screws securing the microphone to the cover.
  7. Install the Electro-CardioGram (ECG) connector to the ECG bracket with the grommet located in the slot in the cradle bottom.
    Important: The grommet on the ECG cable is fragile. Protect the grommet during installation.
  8. Install the four screws securing the ECG connector to the bracket.
  9. Install the P3 port to the handle-end cradle cover.
  10. Install the four screws securing the P3 port to the handle-end cradle cover.
  11. Route the PE cables to the PA coil location.
  12. Route the P1 cable in the cradle cable track to the bore end of the cradle.
  13. Install the two balun holders securing the P1 port cable to the cable routing track.

  14. Install the two screws securing each of the balun holders to the cradle.
  15. Install cable ties in the locations from which cable ties were removed during cable removal.
