DANGER

FATAL ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD!

To prevent possible fatal electric shock, shutdown the host computer and perform LOTO Global Operator Console / Operator Workspace before starting this procedure.

Procedure

Shutdown the system software and Lockout/Tagout the power to the GOC before beginning the replacement.
Wear the static electricity prevention band to the wrist.
Spread the static electricity prevention sheet for replacement
Remove the service cover by unscrewing the two screws and disconnect the ground cable.

Note: The side panel has a short ground lead connecting it to the main chassis. When removing the side panel, do not strain this ground lead.

Remove dust filter.

Clean Dust Filter and restore it. If the Dust filter is not reusable, need remove the Velcro strips and install a new set ( Dust filter and Velcro strips) .
Restore GOC by reverse order of removal.

Finalization

Restore the system. Refer to LOTO for GOC.
Turn the system power on. Verify system boot up without any problem.
Perform check scan.
