PCI AA Replacement

Procedure

  1. Shutdown the system software and Lockout/Tagout the power to the GOC before beginning the replacement.
  2. Wear the static electricity prevention band to the wrist.
  3. Spread the static electricity prevention sheet for replacement
  4. Remove the GOC cover by unscrewing the two screws and disconnect the ground cable.

  5. Loosen the two screws securing the front side bracket to the GOC.
  6. Remove the two screws securing the back side bracket and remove the bracket.

  7. Loosen the two straps and remove the hook.

    1Press release lever of buckle and loosen strap.
    2Remove the hook.
  8. Lift up the cover-release latch and Lift the cover upward to a 45–degree angle, and remove it from the host PC.

  9. Remove all the cables that connected to the PCI AA Board and PCI AA Extended Board from the side of the PC.
  10. Remove the PCI AA Board and PCI AA Extended Board, and take them away.

  11. Install the new PCI AA collector by the reverse order of removal.
  12. Recover the PC and GOC cover in reversed order.

Finalization

  1. Turn the system power on. Verify system boot up without any problem.
  2. Perform Emergency Stop and Off Check
  3. Perform .
    Note:

    GOC PCI AA is pre-adjusted at vendor. So, basically, intercom adjustment of GOC PCI AA is not required. If necessary, perform Intercom Adjustment as troubleshooting
