System Power must be turned OFF. Refer to 1.5T System Cabinet PDU Main Breaker LOTO Procedure.

About this task

The power source of bore light is integrated in the LED Power Box on the Rear Pedestal.

Procedure

  1. Remove Left rear pedestal cover. (Refer to Rear Pedestal Cover Removal)
  2. Unscrew two bolts that fix the fiber cable. (see Figure 1).

  3. Replace the LED Power Box, refer to LED Power Box Assy.
  4. Re-install left rear pedestal left cover.
  5. Remove tag-out tag and restore power by turning on the applicable breaker in the PDU.
