Procedure
- Perform LOTO on the PGR PDU. See the MR Service Safety Manual, PN 5452735.

- Remove the XPS Z unit from the PGR cabinet according to XPS Replacement.

- Unhook the power strip cable plug from the top of the PDU near
the back.

- Remove the tie wraps.
- Remove the power cable from the back of the PDU.
- Unhook the power strip and remove it from the PGR cabinet.

- Install the new power strip and reroute the cable.
Originally, the cable from the power strip was routed toward the back of the PGR cabinet. When replacing the power strip, route the cable toward the front of the cabinet for easier access. In the illustration below, the blue line represents the power strip cabling.

- Secure the power strip cable to the cabinet with the use of tie wraps at the top and along the side rails of the cabinet. Tie wrap the power strip cable to the cabinet separately; avoid joining with any existing cables.
- Plug the end of the power strip cable into the outlet labeled RECON on top of the PDU near the back (see Figure 2).
- Restore the XPS Z unit into the PGR cabinet according to XPS Replacement.
- Remove LOTO from PGR PDU/gradient subsystem. See the MR Service Safety Manual, PN 5452735.
