Removing the head and body Tx cables

Remove the head and body Tx cables.

Procedure

  1. Open the ISC cover.
  2. Remove the defective cables from the RF amp.
    1. CH2 body Tx cable (J22)
    2. Head Tx cable (J3)
    3. CH1 body Tx cable (J4)

  3. Note: If the furnished closet door prevents cable removal, you can separate the PW cover into two pieces by removing six screws at the center.
    Loosen the screws and remove the ISC Penetration Wall (PW) cover by lifting up a little.

  4. Remove the gradient cable cover per the following steps.
    1. Loosen 12 screws.
    2. Lift up a little and remove the gradient cable cover.

  5. At the pen wall side, loosen the screws for the GP4 access panel.

  6. Loosen 20 screws from the Tx cable access panel.

  7. Tilt the Tx cable access panel.
    1. Loosen two screws.
    2. Remove two wing nuts.
    3. Tilt the panel to 90°.
    4. Hook the installed rope to the pin behind the opening of the access panel.
    5. Fix the panel at the bottom with two wing nuts.

  8. Disconnect the defective cable connectors with a wrench.
