Warning

ELECTROCUTION HAZARD!

DANGEROUS AND OR FATAL VOLTAGES ARE PRESENT IN THE ENERGIZED CABINET.

Follow LOTO steps as given in first section of this document to disable and verify safe voltage levels.

System Power must be turned OFF. Refer to LOTO for ISC.	-	-

Open ISC front covers.
Slowly move forward the ICN per following steps.
1. Loosen 2 captive screws under the screw cover
2. Slowly move forward the ICN about 1inch (2.5cm) not to force the rear cable.

At Magnet Room side, remove ICN rear access cover by loosening the screws.

Remove optical cable of PHPS from access window of ICN.

Note: The other cables can be removed later from front access.

Note: If the space is too narrow, ICN can be moved forward since front screws were already loosened.

Perform the following steps.
1. Disconnect all connectors from PHPS2 front panel.
2. Loosen 4 screws.
3. slide out the tray.

Perform the following steps.
1. Disconnect all cables from PHPS 2 from rear side.
2. Slide the PHPS 2 forward and lift up to remove it.

Remove the sub-D filters from connectors J35, J36, and J54. Retain the filters for installation on the replacement unit.
Restore PHPS 2 by reverse order of removal.
