Modifying the table encoder calibration value

Configures the system with a new string encoder position sensitivity number.

Procedure

  1. Important: If your system configuration uses two tables, there will be two Encoder Calibration Values in Guided Install. Make sure you note down the Table Encoder Calibration Value from the encoder you are replacing, and use this value to identify which of the two you need to modify with the new encoder value in Guided Install.
    From the Common Service Desktop, select Guided Install.
  2. On the left sidebar, select Basic Configuration > Hardware Configuration.
  3. Enter the Position Sensitivity number from the string encoder in the Table Encoder Calibration Value field.

    Input numbers only. Do not include commas or other characters.

  4. Click Configure.
  5. Exit Guided Install.
  6. Reboot the system for the changes to take effect.
