Removing the rocker clamp, rod link connector, and shaft rocker

Removes the rocker clamp, rod link connector, and shaft rocker from the patient table.

Procedure

  1. Undock the patient table from the magnet, and remove it from the magnet room.
  2. Raise the patient table to the maximum height.
  3. Lower the table lock safety bar. Lower the table and verify that all weight is resting on the lock bar.

  4. Remove the spring on the defective rod link connector.

  5. Remove the E-clip and the back portion of the rod link connector.
  6. Disconnect the two springs from the spring adapter plate.

  7. Remove the four E-clips securing the defective shaft rocker to the front of the link rod connector, and remove the shaft rocker and the spring adapter plate.
  8. Remove the front portion of the defective rod link connector.
  9. If one of the rocker clamps requires replacement, remove the two E-clips securing it to the table base.
