Removing the primary latch assembly

Disconnect and remove the primary latch assembly from the dockable table.

Procedure

  1. Remove the two screws and two washers securing the cradle to tabletop.

  2. Raise the bore end of the cradle and place a foam block or similar item under the cradle to allow access to the primary latch.

  3. Remove the two screws securing the primary latch cover.

  4. Remove the primary latch cover.
  5. From underneath the primary latch housing, remove the four screws securing the primary latch housing.

  6. Loosen the coarse adjustment setscrew to detach the adjustment cable from the coarse adjustment block.

  7. Thread the adjustment cable back out through the fine adjustment screw and pivot block.
  8. Remove the primary latch housing and cable through the top of the latch opening.
