Provides instructions for replacing a touch-and-go assembly or a side bumper on the dockable table.
Replacing the dockable table left-hand bore-end touch-and-go assembly or side bumper
Removes the bore-end bumper on the left-hand side of the table and provides instructions to replace either the touch-and-go assembly or the bumper and reinstalls the bumper.

Removing the dockable table left-hand bore-end side bumper

Required conditions
The left- and right-hand table side covers are removed.
The dockable table front bumper is removed.

Procedure

Position the table where it can be accessed from all sides.
Engage the table brakes.
Remove the two screws securing the front lower bumper to the tabletop.

Remove the front lower bumper.
Remove the two screws securing the left-hand bore-end side bumper to the table.

Insert a flat-head screw driver into the slot of the IV bushing and remove the jam nut.

Note: The bumper may be stretched slightly to provide better access.

Remove the IV bushing from the bumper.

Note: If the jam nut is too tight, remove the two screws and the L-bracket to create clearance for a socket on the jam nut.

Remove the five nuts and five washers securing the bumper to the tabletop.

Disconnect the touch-and-go assembly connectors from the table wiring.
Remove the bumper from the table.
