Procedure

  1. System power must be turned OFF. LOTO the PGR/ISC cabinet.
  2. Open the PGR/ISC covers.
  3. Disconnect connectors from the front panel of the defective board.

  4. Perform the following steps.
    1. Loosen 2 screws.
    2. Push the release tab.
    3. Open the extractor tab.
    4. Remove the board.
    Note:

    The circuit board should be handled using only the faceplate, ejectors, and the edges of the board.

  5. Place the card in an appropriate shipping package, or discard, if applicable.
  6. Remove the terminators (if any) from the defective board and install them to the same connectors on the replacement board.
    Note:

    New boards do not come with terminators, so you must reuse them from the old board.

  7. Install the new board by reverse order of removal, and restore the PGR/ISC covers.

Finalization

  1. Restore the power. Remove LOTO from the PGR/ISC cabinet.
  2. Perform a UPM Calibration and Functional Check — Body Mode.
  3. Perform a UPM Calibration and Functional Check — Head Mode.
  4. Perform a check scan.
