Removing the Integrated Cooling Cabinet (ICC) control unit Temperature Control Unit (TCU)

Removes either the Cabinet Cooling Unit (CCU) or Gradient Cooling Unit (GCU) Temperature Control Unit (TCU) from the Integrated Cooling Cabinet (ICC) control unit.

About this task

This procedure can be used for either of the TCUs on the ICC control unit. The procedure is the same for either TCU.

Procedure

  1. Shut down the host computer. See Shutting down the host computer.
  2. Perform LOTO for ISC. Refer to Lockout / Tagout for ISC.
  3. Open the ICC front doors far enough to remove the cooling unit.
    Note: The front doors can also be removed if there is not enough space to open it all the way. Disconnect the ground wire and lift the doors up off the hinges and away from the cabinet.
  4. Push both the top and bottom grip latch of the TCU and pull out the TCU.
