About this task

Overview

The FPU Filter (dirt separator) is a component which separates particle like dust, sand and mud in line of the coolant flow. For maintenance, the FPU Filter is equipped with a flushing line needs to be cleaned periodically.

Procedure

  1. Connect a draining hose with 1/2” of diameter. Put the other side of the draining hose into a Coolant Tank.
  2. Open the valve by turning the handle in direction of the pipe.
  3. Observe the draining liquid. If only clear water flows out close the valve.

  4. If needed refill the coolant.
  5. Empty the collected coolant only in a destined disposal.
