ICC Control Unit Replacement

ISC Power must be turned OFF. Refer to Lockout / Tagout for ISC.

Procedure

  1. Open ICC Cove.
  2. Setup Hoist. Refer to Hoist Setup.

  3. Disconnect all cables from Control Unit.

  4. Loosen two screws and carefully withdraw Control Unit from the chassis.

  5. Attach the lifting eye bolt on the top of Control Unit.

  6. Hook the winch from the hoist kit to the lifting eye bolt.
  7. Note: Make sure the hook is seated in the lifting eye bolt. If not, the weight can shift causing harm to the equipment or engineer.
    Ratchet the winch to tighten the chain.

  8. Press the release tabs and remove the 2nd slide rail from 1st slide rail.

  9. Push the slide rail into the cabinet before lowering Control Unit.

  10. Use the hoist and slowly lower the Control Unit to the floor.

  11. Replace slide rail to new Control Unit.
  12. Attach the lifting eyebolt to the top of the new Control Unit.
  13. Restore the Control Unit by reverse order of removal.
  14. Disassemble the hoist kit and restore it to the stored location.

Finalization

  1. Restore the power. Refer to Removing LOTO - ISC.
  2. Perform the Control Unit Functional Check.
  3. Perform check scan.
