Installing the Integrated Cooling Cabinet (ICC) control unit Temperature Control Unit (TCU)
Installs either the Cabinet Cooling Unit (CCU) or Gradient Cooling Unit (GCU) Temperature Control Unit (TCU) into the Integrated Cooling Cabinet (ICC) control unit.

The new TCUs (5723568-3 and 5723568-4) are only compatible with new Control Box (5491925-3*). If these TCUs are installed in previous the Control Box (5491925), control box and TCU can be damaged. In case it is necessary to replace the TCU, remove the TCU and identify the type according to the following illustration. | |
(*) 5491925-3 is a part number for new Control Box, but it is not FRU number. FRU number is 5491925-4 or 5491925-2 which is available in the stock.
The previous design of TCU (5723568 and 5723568-2) is not available in stock anymore. If the defective TCU is a previous one, perform one of the following actions.
- If FMI68015 is available for the system, perform FMI68015.
- If FMI68015 is not ready for the system yet, order both 5723568-3 (TCU for CCU) and 5723568-4 (TCU for GCU), then perform Wiring Modification of Control Box and TCU Replacement to make the TCU control Box as 5491925-3 equivalent.
Procedure
- Install the TCU into the appropriate TCU housing on the ICC control unit.
