Warning

ELECTROCUTION HAZARD!

Dangerous and or fatal voltages are present in the energized cabinet.

Follow LOTO steps as given in first section of this document to disable and verify safe voltage levels.

Open ICC Cover.

Note: If Service space is narrow, remove the door.
Confirm that ISC and Cryocooler power are OFF.
Close valves of Facility water.
Disconnect the FPU sensor cable connector from 3X11 of Control Unit.

Disconnect GCU and CCU Quick Disconnects.

Notice

Water / glycol mixture must be filled into an approved container and be disposed properly or be reused.

Drain the ICC primary water circuit to the tank per following steps.

Connect the draining hose to the emergency valve (a) and place the tank to the other side. Then, open valve of (a).
If no more coolant leak from (a), disconnect hose, connect it to emergency valve (b), and open valve of (b).

Note: Leave the valve (a) opened.
If no more coolant leak from (b), disconnect hose, connect it to fill & drain valve (c), and open valve of (c).

Note: Leave the valve (a) and (b) opened.

Loosen a captive screw and slightly slide the FPU out from ICC to access to the hoses.

Disconnect Facility water and F-50 hoses from ICC.

Press the release tabs and remove FPU.

Remove the sensor cable by removing pin toward your side and install it to the new FRU.

Remove rails from FPU and attach them to the new FRU.
Install FPU by reverse order of removal.

Open valves of Facility Water and check that there is no water leakage at any hoses connected to FPU.
Turn on the F50 cryocooler and ISC power.
Turn on ISC Power. Refer to Removing LOTO - ISC.
Perform check scan.
