GEM RT Open Array Introduction

Overview

This document describes the GEM RT open array coil made by General Electric Healthcare. This is a receive-only coil.

The catalog numbers are M7005RT (includes the 3.0T GEM RT open array, coil positioners, and M0050SS) and M7006RT (includes the 3.0T GEM RT open array and coil positioners).

The 3.0T GEM RT open array coil consists of the coil and coil positioners. To identify the 3.0T GEM RT open array parts, refer to the illustrations below.

Environmental Requirements

Storage Requirements: When the coil is not in transport and is not being used, store the coil in an area that meets the established GE recommended MR suite conditions.
