Replacing the ambient temperature sensor
Replacing an ambient temperature sensor is a complex process, which includes tasks to fulfill the required conditions as well as tasks for finalizing the installation after replacing the sensor.
Removing the magnet right-hand center cover
Removes the center cover from the right-hand side of the magnet.

Removing the magnet right-hand center cover

Required conditions
The right hand top cover is removed.
The right hand bottom cover is removed.

Procedure

Remove three screws securing the right-hand center cover to the magnet.

Lift the cover up and separate the cover slightly from the magnet.
Disconnect the M3350 cable connector from the enclosure ambient temperature sensor.
Disconnect the M3379 cable connector from the enclosure LED switch J60.
Remove the cover from the magnet.
