Replacing the DS Digitized Per Pin Remote Receiver (DPP RRx)

Prerequisites

Gen 2 DS DPP RRx and Gen 2 DS RxDist requires PX28 Software.

Required conditions
System Power must be turned OFF. See Lockout/Tagout for ISC.

Strong magnetic field

Ferrous materials can become dangerous projectiles in the presence of the magnetic field that the magnet produces.

Do not bring any ferrous tools or equipment into the magnet room.

Electrocution hazard

Dangerous voltages are present around the magnet subsystem when energized.

Lock and tag out power to the magnet room before starting work.

About this task

Five DS DPP modules are installed on the side electronics plate. The three modules are identical and can be installed in any of the three mounting positions.
