Procedure

  1. Note: Even though the illustrations used in this procedure are for front side gap foam, this procedure can be applied for rear side gap foam also.
    Remove the front endbell. See Removing the front endbell or Removing the rear endbell.
  2. Peel off the damaged gap foam.

  3. Clean the attachment area with alcohol wipes.
  4. Note: When attaching the gap foam, align the gap foam to the outer side of the body coil.

    Neatly attach the gap foam along the outer side of body coil per following steps.
    1. Peel off the backing of adhesive little by little and start to attach the gap foam under the bridge.
    2. Attach the gap foam along the outer side of body coil.
    3. When it reaches to the other side under the bridge, cut the gap foam.

  5. Restore the endbell in reverse order of the removal. See Installing the front endbell or Installing the rear endbell.

Finalization

Perform Check Scan.
