Installing the Global Operator Cabinet (GOC) Power Distribution Unit (PDU) - Dell T5810

GOC PDU installation for Dell T5810.

Procedure

  1. Insert the GOC PDU into the slot and secure with three screws.

  2. Position the rear plate and secure with two screws.
  3. Connect the cables to the GOC PDU on the lower right side.

    1J15: Not used. Do not use this outlet for servicing
    2J14: Not used. Do not use this outlet for servicing
    3J13: Not used. Do not use this outlet for servicing
    4J12: Ethernet hub for older GOCs that include an 8-port hub

    Not used for newer GOC without a hub. Do not use this outlet for servicing

    5J11: Not used. Do not use this outlet for servicing
    6J10: Patient alert box
    7J9: System power on switch
    8J8: Temp/humidty sensor
    9J7: HDMI splitter
    10J6: USB serial port
    11J5: Host computer power
    12J4: To ISC
  4. Install the cable fixing cover and secure with two screws.

  5. Connect the GOC power distribution supply wire E0003 to J1.
  6. Install the cable plug cover and secure with two screws.
  7. Switch the GOC PDU breaker CB1 to ON.

  8. Position the service cover on the GOC.

  9. Reconnect the ground wire. Move the cover to the final install position.
  10. Secure the cover with the two cover screws.

Finalization

  1. Restore power to the GOC. Perform LOTO for GOC
  2. Perform check scan.
