Reconfiguring Imaging Protocol Manager (IPM)

Reconfigure the IPM prior to a software load or update.

About this task

The IPM should be reconfigured as a pre-check prior to a load from cold software installation or software upgrade. If identified as an IPM connected modality, record required IPM configuration information and perform an IPM device reenrollment.

Note: Always perform a Save Info prior to changing or upgrading scanner software.

Procedure

  1. Determine if your MRI scanner is connected to IPM.
  2. Collect the IPM configuration settings.
  3. Reenroll the device to IPM.
