Determining if an MRI scanner is connected to IPM

Look at the MRI configuration to determine if the scanner is connected to IPM.

Procedure

  1. Open the Common Service Desktop and select Configuration > Imaging Protocol Manager (IPM) > Device Authorization Status.

    Result

    If the IPM is connected, the screen displays Successfully Connected and a green circle to the right of Imaging Protocol Manager.

  2. If the MRI is connected to IPM, proceed to Collecting IPM configuration settings.

    If the MRI is not connected to IPM, no further IPM action is required.
