About this task
Note: This procedure is used to ensure the Fiber-Optic Peripheral Pulse Probe is functioning correctly.
Procedure
- Connect the Peripheral Pulse Probe to the Remote Physical Acquisition Controller (PAC) Assembly.
- To perform this test, place the probe on your fingertip.
- The Peripheral Pulse bar graph on Magnet Enclosure should display your pulse; If not, first ensure the probe is making contact with your fingertip. If the pulse is not displayed, then either the probe or the PAC hardware is failing.
Finalization
Procedure
- Restore the system to patient scanning condition.
- Do a check scan to insure proper operation.
