Installing the hydraulic rotary pump
Installs the hydraulic rotary pump in the dockable patient table.
Procedure
- Move the transparent low-pressure oil hose into position at the left side of the pump, reconnect the hose, and secure with fittings.Note: To help prevent leaks, avoid reusing old hose clamps. Secure the low-pressure line with a new hose clamp.
- Apply Loctite #242 to the three brass screws and reattach the pump brass plate to the front table base.
- Reattach the manifold pipe to the right side of the pump by hand-tightening the manifold nut. You may need to align the manifold during pump installation.
- Position the low-pressure hose clamp close to the brass hex fitting and away from the down rod so the permanent clamp and the down rod do not touch. When the hose is secure, make sure the pump is still sitting perpendicular to the front casting, then tighten the manifold nut.

- To reassemble the table frame connector assembly, do the following:
- Slide the assembly back onto its track.
- Tighten the cable track screws in their original position.
- Replace the rocker shaft in rocker clamp, making sure the rocker shaft slides through the rod link connector on each side.
- Replace the e-clip on the bottom (and top, if removed) of each shaft on each side of frame.
- Dock the table, hold open the down valve, and run the rotary pump for 30 seconds.
- Raise the table. Raise the table lock safety bar to its upright position.
- Replace the base side cover.
- Undock the table and lower it completely to check the hydraulic fluid. If necessary, add hydraulic oil to the reservoir. The level should be 6.5 to 12.5 mm above the full line when the table is at its lowest position.

- To make sure that there is no air deposited in the hydraulic cylinder from the hydraulic lines, do the Patient Table Hydraulics Bleeding procedure. Check fittings for leaks.
- Replace the upper and lower base covers.
