Removing the female coupler

Removes the female coupler from the patient table hydraulic rotary pump.

Procedure

  1. Rotate the female coupler until the half coupling screw is accessible through the cutout in the bearing guide.

  2. Loosen the screw holding the shaft half coupling to the female coupler.
  3. Remove the two long screws and two lock washers securing the rotary pump to the base mounting plate.

  4. Separate the pump from the mounting base plate.
  5. Remove the female coupler from the bearing guide.
    Note: The female coupler may need to be tapped out of the bearing guide.
