Removing the gradient filter

Remove the gradient filter from the Integrated System Cabinet (ISC) Penetration Wall (PW) for replacement with a Gen2 gradient filter.

Procedure

  1. On the scan room side, remove the gradient filter cover screws and cover.

  2. Starting on the left side of the gradient filter at the Z cable, remove the cable bracket screws and cable brackets.

  3. Remove the cable bolts and screws.

  4. Remove the cable from the filter.

  5. Repeat the steps to remove the remaining two cables (Y and X).
  6. On the equipment room side, remove the gradient filter cover screws and cover.

  7. Starting on the left side of the gradient filter at the X cable, remove the cable bracket screws and cable brackets.

  8. Remove the cable bolts and screws.

  9. Remove the cable from the filter.

  10. Repeat the steps to remove the remaining two cables (Y and Z).
  11. Remove the screws surrounding the filter mounting plate from the penetration wall panel.

  12. Remove the gradient filter.
