Installing the rocker clamp, rod link connector, and shaft rocker

Installs the rocker clamp, rod link connector, and shaft rocker onto the patient table.

Procedure

  1. If the rocker clamp was removed, install the two E-clips securing it to the table base.

  2. Install the front portion of the rod link connector.
  3. Install the the shaft rocker and the two E-clips securing the shaft rocker to the front of the link rod connector.

  4. Install the back portion of the rod link connector and the inner E-clip.

  5. Install the spring and the pin on the rod link connector.

  6. Raise the table so the weight is off of the lock bar. Raise the table lock safety bar.
  7. Install the four screws (shown below) that secure the rear base cover to the table base and the bellows.

  8. Install both the left and right lower base side covers by pushing in and down to attach the Velcro® securing each to the Bellows. For more information, refer to Patient Table Upper and Lower Base Side Cover Removal.
  9. Install the two screws that fasten the left and right lower base side covers to the table.
