Removing TDM

Procedure

  1. Perform LOTO on the PEN cabinet. See the MR Service Safety Manual, PN 5452735.
  2. Turn off the Scan Room Power Supply (SRPS) at the penetration cabinet.
  3. Remove the left side center cover and left side rear cover. See Side and Top Cover Removal and Installation.

  4. Disconnect all cables connected to the TDM.
    Note:

    Remove J1 before J12 to prevent damage to the end of the cable connected to J12.

  5. Remove the four screws holding the TDM to the magnet.

  6. While carrying the module out of the magnet room, stay as far away from the magnet as possible.

Installing TDM

Procedure

  1. While carrying the module into the magnet room, stay as far away from the magnet as possible.
  2. Secure the module to the magnet by tightening the four screws provided.
  3. Attach all cables that were previously removed. See Figure 2.
    Note:

    To prevent damage to the cables, connect J12 before J1.

Finalization

Procedure

  1. Replace side cover.
  2. Remove LOTO from the PEN cabinet. See the MR Service Safety Manual, PN 5452735.
  3. Complete a test scan to make sure the system is functional.
  4. Run TNS Datapath Diagnostics to confirm there are no remaining issues.
