XGD Fan Box Assembly Replacement

Removing XGD Fan Box Assembly

Procedure

  1. Perform LOTO on the PGR cabinet. See the MR Service Safety Manual, PN 5452735.
  2. Remove cables J13 and J14 from the XGA to expose the fan.

  3. Remove cable J2 from the fan.

  4. Loosen the two screws securing the fan to the cabinet.
  5. Pull the fan out from the cabinet.

Installing XGD Fan Box Assembly

Procedure

  1. Slide in the new fan until it is fully seated in the cabinet.
  2. Tighten the two screws to secure the fan to the cabinet.
  3. Attach cable J2 to the fan.
  4. Attach cables J13 and J14 to the XGA.

Finalization

Finalization

  1. Remove LOTO from the PGR PDU/gradient subsystems. See the MR Service Safety Manual, PN 5452735.

  2. Verify that the fan is operating appropriately.
