Calibrate ViewSonic monitor (for VP231wb and VP2330wb)

Procedure

  1. Refer to the illustration below for control locations and functions.

  2. Find the model number in the upper right corner on the front of the monitor and record it.

  3. To display the Main Menu, press the 1 button.

    note: All OnView menus and adjustment screens disappear automatically after about 30 seconds.
  4. Modify the red-green-blue (RGB) setting by navigating to Color Adjust -> User Color.

    • If this is a VP2330wb, continue to Step 5.

    • If this is a VP231wb, skip to Step 6.

  5. (For VP2330wb) Numeric values are used for adjustments. Calibrate the monitor to match the settings in the table below.
    note: Contrast/Brightness and Color Adjust are different menu selections.

  6. (For VP231wb) A green slider is used for adjustments instead of numerical values. To calibrate the monitor, count the major tick marks (total of 14) to determine the proper slider location.

    • The slider is set at 9.75. Calibrate the monitor to match the settings in the table below.

    • Contrast/Brightness and Color Adjust are different menu selections.

  7. Proceed to Finalization.

Finalization

Procedure

  1. To save adjustments, press the 1 button.
  2. To exit the menu, press the 1 button again.
  3. Return to LCD Monitor Installation to complete finalization steps.
