Doing ICW GOC calibrations
This procedure details the global operator cabinet (GOC) calibrations of the Install and Calibration Wizard (ICW).

Before working in any GE Healthcare MR suite or performing any GE Healthcare service procedure, you must:
If you have any safety concerns at any time, do not begin work or immediately stop work and move to a safe location. Immediately contact your supervisor or site safety officer for instructions on how to proceed. |
There are three tasks that must be completed and checked off:
- Intercom Adjustments
- Picture Archiving and Communication System-Hospital Information System/Radiology Information System (PACS-HIS/RIS) and networking
- Pneumatic Patient Alert Check
Procedure
- Insert the service key in the system PC.
- Launch the Service Browser (Common Service Desktop).
- Click the Calibration tab.note: If you are in Install or Upgrade mode, click Install and Calibration Wizard and then click Click here to start the tool.
- If it is required to be completed, the GOC Calibrations checklist is one of the final items listed in the ICW.

- Adjust the intercom for the GOC audio assembly. See Adjusting the Intercom for the GOC audio assembly. When this is complete, check the box next to Is Intercom Adjustment done?
- Set up the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for the Hospital Information System (HIS) / Radiology Information System (RIS). See Setting Up HIS/RIS. When this is complete, check the box next to Is PACS:HIS/RIS:Camera:Site Specific Networking done?
- Check the pneumatic patient alert.

- Find the patient warning squeeze bulb (PWSB) near the magnet enclosure. The PWSB connects to the physiological acquisition controller (PAC) assembly.
- Find the audio alert box near the console.
- Compress the PWSB. The audio alert box produces an audible alarm.
- After you complete the previous sub-steps, check the box next to Is Pneumatic Patient Alert Check done?
- Click Submit. This completes the GOC Calibrations section of the ICW.
