Installing the Patient Handling Power Supply (PHPS) 2

Procedure

  1. Install the sub-D filters onto connectors J35, J36, and J54.
  2. Install the PHPS 2.

  3. Connect the cables to the rear of the PHPS 2.
  4. Connect the fiber optic cable to the rear of the fiber optic interface.
  5. Slowly push the PHPS 2 all the way in.
    Note: Use caution to not pinch or damage the eight cables or impair the cable service loops at the rear.
  6. Tighten four captive fasteners.

  7. Connect the cables to the front of the PHPS 2.
  8. Make sure the PHPS 2 front power switch is in the up (on) position.
  9. Close or reinstall the penetration cabinet door.
