Procedure

  1. Position the coil in the cradle, connect the cable as shown in Figure 1.

  2. Place phantom positioner on table as shown inFigure 2.

  3. Place the QA phantom onto the positioner as shown in .

  4. Place coil over the phantom. Ensure that the cable rests on the cable guide notch at the bore-end of the phantom positioner (white arrow) and the coil housing fits snug against the cable guide notch.
  5. Landmark on phantom holder markings (black arrow) and advance to scan.
