IPM Onboarding examples

This topic identifies the pseudonyms for user names and accounts we use in step-by-step instructions throughout this . . These worked examples are intended to help you to quickly understand concepts and to practice IPM implementation tasks. This is provided as guidance while you familiarize yourself with working with the and applications. There are not strict guidelines you must adhere to.

Example user accounts

Recommended username convention:

ipm.<role>.[ge|cust].<First.Last>@<organization domain name>

where:

ipm

is the Imaging Protocol Manager application. Because multiple applications are available in the , this will help in locating your user accounts in the event DevOps assistance is needed.

<role>

represents the role this user account will perform.

[ge|cust]

is included only to distinguish roles that are assigned to s or ss.

<First.Last>

represents the users first and last (given and family) names separated by a period. Use initial capitals to help your eye scan for specific users in a long list.

<organization domain name>

is the organization domain name:

GE Healthcare organization domain for s. For example, hc.ge.com.
domain for s. For example, ipm.chcs.org.

Recommended user groups naming convention:

ipm.organization abbreviation.<IPM role>

where:

ipm: is the Imaging Protocol Manager application. Because multiple applications are available in the , this will help in locating your user groups in the event DevOps assistance is needed.
organization abbreviation: is an abbreviation for the organization, for example, GE for GE Healthcare or CHCS for Compass Healthcare System.
