Installing antivirus software
The MR scanner does not come with antivirus software. Antivirus software is an optional feature of the MR scanner.
Use these steps to install the antivirus software and update the DAT files.
Note: Virus definition or DAT files contain virus signatures and other information that McAfee antivirus software uses to protect system against existing and new potential threats. New DAT files are released daily. They also release new DAT files when McAfee Labs assesses any threat to have a medium or higher risk. To ensure that your antivirus software protects your system or network against the latest threats, make sure that you always use the most recent DAT files.
