Connecting to the ePO server using the Command Line Interface

Procedure

  1. Obtain ePO server details from the customer – Server name, IP Address, Port Number & User Name, Password or Certificate.
  2. Click C Shell... on the Service Desktop manager.
  3. Log in as a root user.
    1. Type su - and press Enter.
    2. Type the root password and press Enter.
  4. In the root terminal type vi /opt/McAfee/agent/bin/epoDetails/SiteList.xml and press Enter.
  5. Enter the information collected in step 1 in the file.
  6. Save and close the file (Esc, :wq, hit enter).
