MR password life-cycle

The system install for MR can take anywhere from weeks to months. During this period GE owns the system until it is fully installed and handed over to the customer. During this install phase, most of the sites do not support InSite connectivity and hence backing up passwords in the back office is not possible. Since multiple FEs will most likely require access to the software on the system for various install actions, the SW has been designed to accept a temporary password until the completion of "install in spec". When the system is brought in spec, the software will force another change of passwords on all accounts so that the temporary passwords can be replaced with the customer passwords. From this point on, customers will need to manage their passwords on all of the user accounts on the system.
