ICOM Power Supply Replacement

Overview

1 Removal Procedure

Procedure

  1. Select one of the following methods to Power OFF the Operator Console:
    1. If Applications are up, click on the Shut Down button and select Shutdown.

      The Operator Console monitor will display a 'Power Down' message when it is acceptable to power OFF the Operator Console.

    2. If Applications are down, open a Unix Shell. Type: halt.
  2. Power OFF the console at the front panel switch.
  3. Remove the ICOM board. Refer to ICOM Board Replacement.
  4. Disconnect all cables from the ICOM power supply.
  5. Remove four screws securing the ICOM power supply, and remove the power supply.

2 Installation Procedure

Procedure

  1. Install a new ICOM power supply using four screws.
  2. Re-Connect all cables to the ICOM power supply.
  3. Install the removed ICOM board.
  4. Reconnect all cable connectors to the ICOM board.
  5. Power ON the Operator Console.
  6. Take some scans which need to do prescribed tilt; verify the prescribed tilt function is normal.

3 Finalization

Procedure

  1. Re-Install the console cover.
