Host Computer Image Database Reset (19HW19.4)
Prerequisites
Overview
The following procedure describes and illustrates the Host Computer Image Database Reset procedure for System software version 19HW19.4. Same tool has been implemented on other software versions but 19HW19.4 feature is different from others.

The tool does not erase all images.

The purpose of the tool is to recover the corrupted image database.
Procedure
- Execute Application shutdown if it’s running, typing “cleanMon” in command window.
- Open command window and type the following command. All command must be executed by ctuser account.
{ctuser@bay}mkdir /usr/g/sdc_image_pool2/tmp <enter>
{ctuser@bay}chmod 777 /usr/g/sdc_image_pool2/tmp <enter>
{ctuser@bay}chown ctuser.ctuser /usr/g/sdc_image_pool2/tmp <enter>
{ctuser@bay}touch /usr/g/sdc_image_pool2/db.incons <enter>
{ctuser@bay}touch /usr/g/sdc_image_pool2/gracefullyshutdown <enter>
{ctuser@bay}reboot <enter>note:Reboot command must not be executed by root user account. It may cause the image database corruption during reboot.
- Startup sequence stops after OS loading. Open command window and type “st” to start application software.
- Confirm if the image database has been recovered. It takes 1 hour or more time depends on the existing number of images.
If the image database still has issue, open command window and type the followings.

{ctuser@bay}resetImageDB_Linux <enter> - The command prompt is displayed when recovery has been completed. Reboot the system.
