CAM A/B Motor Check

Prerequisites

Verify that the CAM A/B Motor is functional.

Procedure

  1. Ohm CAM A (or CAM B) motor windings.
  2. Swap CAM drive harness with other CAM.
  3. Perform CAM A/B Encoder Check
    note:

    If the Manual Encoder test passes but failures occur under motor control, refer to Cam Drive Motor and Flex Coupling Replacement. The set screw on the shaft internal to the collimator might be loose.
