CAM A/B Encoder Check

Prerequisites

Verify that the CAM A/B Encoder is functional.

Procedure

  1. Launch COLLIMATOR AND FILTRATION.
  2. Turn OFF the Axial Enable gantry service switch.
    • danger
    • CRUSH HAZARD.
    • UNEXPECTED GANTRY ROTATION CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY.
    • Never service the gantry with the axial drive enabled.
  3. Engage gantry rotational lock.
  4. Exercise the CAM A/B encoders and verify no test failures. Reference Figure 1.
