STEP E14: System Functional Test

  1. Run the System Scanning Test procedure from the white service CD.

  2. Confirm the UPS goes into backup mode on loss of power. Confirm that you can shut down the console and the table is operational before the loss of battery power.

  3. Confirm the remote monitor displays the same images as shown on the console image monitor.

  4. Confirm the bar code reader is operational and data is displayed.

  5. Confirm that an image can be filmed, saved to DVD, and networked to another network device or AWW.

  6. Confirm the Nemoto injector is operational, and all setup and calibration procedures are completed. Confirm other injectors can power-up.

  7. Confirm the SmartStep option is operational, and the foot switch and hand switch operate.

  8. Confirm the cardiac cables are connected to the gantry option panel. Perform the Cardiac Functional Test.

  9. Complete the Connect Pro Functional Test. Transfer images to another station via EXPORT DATA in the PATIENT SCHEDULER function.

  10. Check all appropriate boxes on the GE Form e4879 Installation Data Verification.
