STEP 8: Level the Gantry

note:

For best results, use the gantry dollies to raise the gantry while making rough adjustments to the levelers. Make fine-tuned adjustments with no load on the dollies.

1. Loosen all adjuster lock rings.
2. Level the left side front-to-back, making height adjustments to the levelers with the gantry load on the dollies.
3. Level the right side front-to-back making height adjustments to the levelers with the gantry load on the dollies.
4. Level the gantry side-to-side making height adjustments on the side that is higher. Turn each leveler on that side equally.
5. With no load on the dollies systematically make fine-tuned adjustments to the levelers until both bubble levels are centered left-to-right and front-to-back.
6. All four leveling pads should be carrying a portion of the gantry weight, and the bubble should be completely inside the inner circle on both bubble levels.
