STEP 4A: Cut Out Floor Surface Down to Bare Concrete

Potential for personal injury.
Use appropriate safety procedures when drilling the floor holes, especially if there is lead or asbestos in the floor.
Appropriate PPE is required when working with hazardous materials.

1. Cut 4-inch holes through tile flooring at the 8 anchoring locations. Note: The best method is with a 4-inch hole saw equipped with a masonry drill bit.
2. Remove the floor covering. Scrape the adhesive and sprinkle a small amount of cement dust to prevent the leveling pads from sticking.
3. Snap a chalk line down the table centerline.
